The space is centered around the Four Seasons Flower Hall, blending elements of traditional Fuzhou culture. The layout is flexible and free-flowing, with each step unveiling a new scene, creating the sensation of wandering through a garden. Key areas highlight local cultural landmarks, allowing visitors to experience the rich cultural heritage and feel as though they are strolling through the streets and alleys of old Fuzhou. A New Interpretation of Traditional Elements: Inspired by Fuzhou's "Three Lanes and Seven Alleys," elements such as horse-head walls, lanes, courtyards, and alleys are reimagined using modern architectural language. This approach preserves the regional characteristics while infusing the space with a contemporary feel.Integration and Innovation in Space: The design creates boundaryless spaces, such as the Four Seasons Flower Hall, which seamlessly connects with the outdoor landscape, breaking the interior-exterior boundary and offering a dynamic spatial experience with ever-changing views. Additionally, the design incorporates "hall-well culture," making the Flower Hall a multifunctional space for relaxation and spiritual exchange for the elderly.Locally sourced materials, such as red soil, reclaimed longan tree trunks for tea tables, floral tiles, gray bricks, and oil-paper umbrellas, are used in the design. These materials carry the history and cultural memories of the region, directly reflecting the local cultural characteristics. They help immerse residents and visitors in a rich regional cultural atmosphere, contributing to the preservation and promotion of Fuzhou's traditional culture. Natural Lighting and Ventilation: Large skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows, and other design elements allow natural light to flood the space, especially through the high ceilings of the lobby. This reduces reliance on artificial lighting during the day, lowering energy consumption.Indoor Greenery and Ecological Space: Green plants are integrated into the interior design, creating an eco-friendly and sustainable environment. From the overall planning and construction concept of Fuyuan, there is a strong focus on sustainable development. In the interior design, eco-friendly materials are extensively used, including eco-friendly texture paints, inorganic coatings, PVC flooring, sustainable panels, and natural fabric materials. This approach aims to minimize environmental impact and achieve green and eco-friendly goals, in line with current societal demands and trends for sustainability.
